uOttawa’s Sustainability Soirée
95 95 people viewed this event.
The goal of the Soirée was to raise awareness about sustainability on Campus. The organisers came from four groups of students who shared a common purpose: to promote greater sustainability in our lives. Attendees, mostly students, came beautifully dressed to the soirée. The energy in the room was upbeat. The event sponsor, Plant-Based Treaty was tabling. In their presentation, they showcased the work they’re doing world-wide to promote plant based diets. A vegan appetizer was served, and two cello players added some wonderful vibes to the atmosphere.
Aïda Warah, the founder and executive director of GentleWays for OurPlanet spoke at the event and here is her full speech.
